Terms of service
These terms apply to trymelora.shop and to everything you buy from it. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them before you check out. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the store.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "Melora" mean Melora, 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. "You" means the person using the store or placing an order.
1. Who can buy from us
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding contract. By ordering you confirm that this is the case and that the payment details you use are your own or that you have permission to use them.
2. Our products
Melora products are cosmetics for external use on the skin. They are not medicines, they are not prescribed, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Nothing on this website is medical advice. If you have a skin condition, are under the care of a dermatologist, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are using prescription topical treatments, talk to a qualified healthcare professional before adding a new product to your routine.
3. Bee venom, allergies and patch testing
Several of our products contain purified bee venom. If you are allergic to bee stings, wasp stings or other insect venom, do not use them. A known venom allergy can produce a serious reaction, including anaphylaxis.
Even without a known allergy, we ask every customer to patch test first: apply a small amount to the inside of the forearm and leave it for 24 hours before using the product on the face. Stop using the product and seek medical advice if you experience swelling, hives, difficulty breathing, or any reaction beyond mild, brief tingling.
Always read the ingredient list on the product itself before use, and keep our products away from the eyes and out of reach of children.
4. Product descriptions, images and pricing
We work hard to describe our products accurately, but photography, screen calibration and packaging updates mean that what arrives can differ slightly in appearance from what you saw online.
Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and can change at any time before you place an order. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or human error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it.
5. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email is an acknowledgement that we received it, not acceptance. The contract is formed when we dispatch your order. We may decline or cancel an order, and refund you in full, if the item is out of stock, if we suspect fraud, if the order appears to be for resale, or if we cannot ship to your address.
We may limit quantities per customer or per order.
6. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment providers. We accept the methods shown at checkout. We do not see or store your full card details.
7. Promotions and discounts
Promotional pricing, discount codes and time-limited offers apply only while they are shown and cannot be applied retrospectively to an order already placed. Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined. We may end a promotion early.
8. Shipping, returns and refunds
Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy. Cancellations, returns and our 90-day money-back guarantee are covered by our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.
9. Reviews and anything else you send us
If you send us a review, photo, comment or message, you keep ownership of it, but you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display it in connection with Melora, including in marketing.
Only submit content that is your own, that is truthful, and that you have the right to share. Do not submit anything unlawful, misleading, offensive or infringing. We may edit or remove submitted content, and we do not have to publish anything you send.
10. Our intellectual property
The Melora name, logo, product names, text, photography, video and page design on this store belong to us or are used under licence. You may not copy, republish, scrape or use them commercially without our written permission.
11. Acceptable use
Do not use this store to break the law, to impersonate anyone, to introduce malicious code, to interfere with its security, or to harvest data from it by automated means. We may suspend access if you do.
12. Availability of the store
We do not promise that the store will always be available or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, or discontinue a product, without notice.
13. Disclaimers and limits on our liability
Except where the law does not allow it, the store and its content are provided "as is" and we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier failures, customs holds, strikes and extreme weather.
14. Indemnity
You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs if they arise from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the store.
15. Links to other sites
Where we link to a third-party site, we do not control it and are not responsible for its content or its handling of your data.
16. Privacy
How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. If you are in a US state with an opt-out right, you can use our data sharing opt-out page.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published here when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
